I disagree with the majority of this feedback its unstructured and fails to explain where I have gone wrong and what i can do to improve my practice its clearly indicate I have stuck to the two colours plus stock and then says they dont work as part of a set i need to look at colour and style?? They are both hand rendered and use the same colours and stock one is an image of a cocktail glass and the other the recipe for the cocktail?! I do agree with I should try and do the images on the computer rather than hand rendered I want to begin the posters again with another of my ideas for the final outcome they look unprofessional.

Unaware of what actually goes in ours drinks maybe from the bar staff or people in a club?

Has to be finalized needs to look at trying another colour maybe black and white and for the illustration and type and background colour to liven the page up.

Yes the type and type and image make the othe poster.

Are the posters memorable, immediate high impact and clear?
Type needs to be stronger and clear maybe look at restaurant menus. bold illustrations would work if produced on a computer.

Produce missing poster on computer add another colour and think about what type you can use?

In response to these critical responses I believe that my typeface does have a logic system to it and the letterforms we were told needed to work as individual letterforms as well as in a set and with mine you can tell there a set. Although they would have worked better together if they were lower case when put together to spell Sam for example. I dont think I am going to change the way i have produced the alphabet as I personally find appeal to the style.

Which personality traits did you choose to respond to and apply the typeface?

I responded to the traits which sam had responded to my questions he old me he gets bored quite easily distracted. I got from his body language he was a pritty quiet person very emotionally closed.

What are the reasons behind the design decisions you have made for the typeface?

sams favourite typeface was univers i discovered from this that bauhaus had created i it came about in that era so i decided to base the main frame on bauhaus.

In what ways are the results effective?

The colours are effective sams favourite colour was also red and i thought I wouldnt be able to use such a vibrant colour to display the personality of such a quiet boy yet when i seen him with his friends he was a different person so a little colour splash would be relevant to what he was like not loud most of the time but can be!

Childish and playful

Describe what you think of the typeface?

Yes it is legible possibly too obvious it hasn't been manipulated alot and this is dissapointing too much focus on the childish i said i like watching kids programs doesn't make me a childish person.

In what ways effective and ineffective of representing you?

Effective because it is a little care free and playfull and would be somewhat attracting to a child because it is based on the letter fridge magnets. Very innefective because as a typeface it isnt something which i find interesting as a piece of design work also colours i very much dislike.
